Dr. Yvonne Dang is a board certified interventional radiologist who specializes in uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) and has participated in a number of fibroid research projects.
Dr. Yvonne Dang earned her MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, followed by an internship and residency at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
She then completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and holds a certificate of added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology.
Dr. Dang previously served on the Department of Radiology, Division of Interventional Radiology staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. As fellowship program director for the Department of Radiology, Division of Interventional Radiology at Weill Cornell, she was responsible for teaching many residents and fellows. She specializes in uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), the non-surgical treatment of fibroids. She has also participated in a number of fibroid research projects and has conducted many lectures on the subject. She practices at American Access Care in the Bronx as well as Verona Veins.
